Hexie Quilt

The Hexie Quilt, my take along project has also evolved... I began with the traditional Grandmother's Flower Garden type block, then thought about stars for awhile, and have finally settled on diamonds.

Grandmother's Flower Garden

Orange


Red

Pink

Bordered with White, it really makes them pop.

I have made 7... and I've promised myself I'm not going to figure out how many more are needed for quilt that will cover someone's lap. 

Cooling quickly here, down to 25 degrees tonight!

    Looking good. You're right, those b&w hexagons really do the trick. Love the elongated hexagon shape. fun stuff.
