Horsey Quilt Top for Ruthi Done!

Finished up my Horsey Quilt over the weekend, with free free pieced letters too.  First the letters in progress... each letter as constructed:




Then added fabric for the spaces between the letters.


Finally, fabric sewn to the top and bottom of the letters and trimmed to 6 1/2 inches for the border.


Tah Dah!!!! 




Isn't Ruthi a great name for a 5 year-old?  Off to be quilted now.

    Hard to believe this started as a simple sheet. You should sent a picture to the manufacturer.

    So pretty. I do hope that it's a horsey little girl. Mine would have loved such a treasure at that age!
