I used up all my scraps from the original Horsey quilt, and then some. All the border is pieced from the scraps from the flying geese in the original quilt. I cannot bring myself to throw those away and I have used them in many projects. I also had many 1" strips that made the quilt very scrappy. I am quilting this one myself, so hopefully can get a start on that this weekend!

Kaitelin Quilt Done.... Finally - Phew!
The project that was only going to take a couple of days is finally pieced. How come I always SEVERELY underestimate the amount of time it takes to complete something? Here's the pic's.
I used up all my scraps from the original Horsey quilt, and then some. All the border is pieced from the scraps from the flying geese in the original quilt. I cannot bring myself to throw those away and I have used them in many projects. I also had many 1" strips that made the quilt very scrappy.
