I'm Baaack...

...with some recent fabric purchases (of course) for a few projects that I'm currently working on...

This for my Tra La, Tra La quilt binding...  It's recently back from the most fantastic quilter Judy Irish.  I think I'm settled on this after testing several fabrics, and even making a binding and then tearing it off after not being happy with it!  Pictures of the quilt and the quilting coming soon I promise!

Now I Understand what the Fuss is About!

I found this beauty at a garage sale last summer and tried it out to make sure it worked, however, with my sewing machine in the shop I have been sewing all week on this... so smooth and nice.  The only thing I miss is the thread cutter, is there such a thing as a stick on thread cutter, if not I may invent it.  Haha.

And while I dropped the machine off, I looked for some yellow fabrics... only not so much yellow.

Clever!

Have been watching what I eat and have decided cake is my favorite food... hmm maybe that is a problem?

In Las Vegas last weekend and made the trek to one of my most favorite fabric shops... actually, I went twice.  Lots of unique colorful fabric, here's some of the haul.

Pink and Zebra Quilt

These arrived today for the Pink and Zebra Quilt..

Gotta love pink zebras!  Not really sure how the zebra fabric will tie into the rest of the quilt, but that's the fun of it, right!

Fabric Incentive

Sometimes I use a little fabric fix as an incentive

to get a quilt finished up.  I have about 200 more

 flying geese to finish up this baby!

It's hard to see in the photo, but the top fabric

 has a metalic, shiny finish.
